Meet the Team
Margarette Goldman
My family and I are transplants from South Florida, now thoroughly enjoying life in beautiful Colorado. I love being with my family and friends, crafting, reading, and spending time outdoors. I am also a part of an organization for women educators that values diversity, quality education, and world understanding.
With a passion for education, I have experience teaching in the classroom as well as an interventionist. My mission is to inspire a love of learning in my students, ensuring they grow not only academically, but also socially and emotionally.
I believe in open communication and am committed to working together with families for the success of all students. Feel free to reach out via email at INTERNAL LINK [email protected]. I'm available to respond before and after school.
Looking forward to a great year -- GO EAGLES!
Jimmy Rasavage
Welcome Back
My name is James Michael Rasavage II.
It is my 20th year at Rock Ridge Elementary, and 25th year as an educator.
Teaching is my passion. I began my education as an environmental scientist. I have an Environmental Science degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania where I was educated in Geology, Hydrology, Mineralogy, Astronomy, and Meteorology. I also hold a master’s degree in Elementary Education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. I consider math, science, critical thinking, and communication my strengths as an educator.
I am the advisor/founder for Rock Ridge’s recycling club: Green Team. I initiated and developed this after school program in 2004 with the belief that it is my responsibility to teach the next generation to be environmentally aware and understand the importance of conservation in our community. Next time you are on campus check out the Rock Ridge Garden
I am so excited to start another amazing year. Go eagles!
Sincerely,
James M. Rasavage II

Taylor Trujillo
Hi, my name is Taylor Trujillo and I am so excited for this upcoming school year. This will be my second year teaching and my second year at Rock Ridge. In our class we will strive to build a strong community where everyone can feel safe and welcome.
I grew up in Houston, Texas and went to college in Arkansas to get my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I met my husband, Brian, at college and together we have two dogs. In my free time I enjoy reading, fishing, and spending time with friends and family.
